Imlil day trip is organized by Toubkal Experience. Explore the majesty of the High Atlas foothills by driving or on foot in the Imlil region. With your own driver, go towards the Agafay desert for an unforgettable morning crossing of the Agafay Desert. The Agafay Desert is renowned for its strange light, dune-shaped hills, and expansive horizons overlooking the Atlas Mountains. Continue on to the Lalla Takerkoust dam, Aguergour’s cliff town, and the Kik plateau, before reaching the isolated valley that leads to the settlement of Imlil. On-site, mules and muleteers await you to enjoy the discovery trek, which will take you to several overlooks overlooking the Imlil Valley. Additionally, you will learn about the cultures of the region’s fruits, which include walnut, cherry, and apple trees.

When you reach the peak of Armd, you will be greeted with an authentic tajine lunch on the terrace of the village’s highest family inn! Visit Armd, a Berber town with streets formed entirely of the same stone! Additionally, its locals will cordially meet you. For families or groups of friends, this is a once-in-a-lifetime excursion to the heart of Berber country. Return to Marrakech along the magnificent Asni-Tahanahoute highway. Our trekking journey will include a halt in Aroumd to see a community in the Assif At Mizane Valley. It’s a stunning historical site that shouldn’t be missed. This area was constructed house by house atop a vast moraine spur, overlooking historic irrigated terraced fields of barley, maize, and vegetables, and was always bordered by walnut trees. The journey will then continue for another half hour until the lunch halt, which will be provided by a Berber family in the village of Achayn. After lunch, you will return to Imlil and then to Marrakech via the other side of the valley.
