Enjoy a winter excursion to Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech to Imlil and Imi Oughlad at 1,450m. Here, we’ll meet our Berber muleteers and guide. We hike for 4 hours in Ouirgane National Park and stay in Tinzert, a Berber settlement
Today we continue our Winter Toubkal Trek after breakfast we’ll hike to the stunning Azzaden Valley. Enjoy amazing views with a rushing mountain stream. You spend the night in a village Ait Aissa in local guesthouse or gite. Enjoy 5 hours walking and hiking during the day.
Winter Toubkal Trek involves an adventure climb out of the Azzadene Valley towards Tizi Oussem , and you will experience the Atlas scenery, then we pass via Tizi n Mzik at 2489 meters before descending down into Imlil village. You spend the night in Riad Atlas Prestige Gueshouse. Enjoy 6 hours walking today in Atlas Mountains with local guides.
We visit Aremd, the biggest settlement in the Mizane Valley, and Sidi Chamarouch after breakfast. Eastward, we follow mule paths. Our Atlas Mountains path zigzags to the Toukbal base camp at 3206 meters. After 5 hours of hiking, we eat supper at a small gite.
Our winter Toubkal climb and Berber villages finishing today and after early wake up we make our attempt on the summit of Jebel Toukbal. It is the highest peak in Morocco. From Toubkal peak there are amazing views from the Marrakech Plain to theHigh Atlas in the north and the Sahara. Then we walk down the mountain back towards Imlil , then we transfer you to Marrakech.
