We offer two-day Marrakech Atlas hiking excursions to see Berber settlements, departing from your accommodation through Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, taking in the breathtaking views of the villages along the route. Arrival in Imlil (65km from Marrakech), meet the guide and multeer, and then begin the trek by climbing Tizi Mzik pass (2500m), which offers spectacular views of the Imlil Valley and Toubkal Summit. Continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m in height), then descend the Azzaden Valley through juniper forest to reach Tizi Tizi oussem village. Overnight in the village’s Berber residence. 6 hours of walking.
After breakfast, enjoy the sunshine in this vibrant Valley and its marvelous traditional Berber villages. Depart Tizi Oussem and descend to Id Issa village before ascending to Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m). Cross Matat village through a wild thurifer juniper forest. Have lunch beneath walnut groves and relax near the river. Transfer return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
