PROGRAM FOR 3 DAYS TRIP FROM FES TO MERZOUGA AND MARRAKECH

WITH PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS AND CAMEL RIDE TO SAHARA CAMP

DAY 1 : TANGIER - CHEFCHAOUEN

Today our tour starts and we will leave for Ifrane, nicknamed as the ” Switzerland of Morocco ” . The first village we will encounter along the way is Azrou, very famous for the presence of so many monkeys in the forest that surrounds it. We will then take the road that climbs the Middle Atlas to town of Midelt then we drive through the beautiful gorges of the Ziz until you get to Er-Rachidia and then we arrive to Rissani, and the Merzouga desert. From here we take the camels will be a magical night with a clear sky and the stars that shine with intensity.  For the first night there is a beautiful typical dinner around the fire with a party to the beat of drums, singing the songs of the Berber, Tuareg and populations of southern Morocco. (The nights in the desert in the Berber tent)

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES

Today in the morning our camel guide will wake you up to see another beautiful sunrise which will maybe be the best one you see it in your life After the sunrise you will mount your camel going back to your hotel before you leave to Rissani, Tinghir, and the amazing Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest Gorges in Morocco. Then you will continue to Dades Valley, where you will see the amazing sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as monkey toes. On this nigh of Tangier tours Morocco desert trips, you will spend an overnight in a hotel in Dades Gorges.(BB)

DAY 3: DADES GORGES- OURZAZATE - MARRAKECH

After breakfast in your hotel we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna, we will visit a museum which store featuring 300 million year-old fossils. Then, you will travel toward Ouarzazate via the Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs. We will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco , we visit the 17th century Kasbah of Taourirt, which was one of Basha Glaoui’s homes. On your way to Marrakech, we will pass by Morocco’s largest film production centre and take a short detour to visit Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular kasbah that has been featured in many films and it’s protected by the World Heritage of Unesco. From there, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains at the Tizi N’Tiscka pass at 7.400 feet it is the highest pass in Morocco. Spectacular views of the valleys are revealed as you wind your way down to Marrakech. We drop you off at your riad / hotel and this will be the end of our Morocco private tour.
