ITINERARY FOR 2-DAY ATLAS VALLEY TREK

We offer Atlas mountains treks and trips that meet your needs based on the amount of days available and party size (from solo travellers to large groups).  We have some excellent trekking possibilities in Morocco. We may tailor-make your Atlas trekking journey for you or you can choose from one of our pre-planned routes. This is adventure Adventure Atlas Valley Trek 2 days.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL/ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS (1740M)- TIZI MZIK (2684M)-TAMSOULTE WATERFALLS (2300M) TIZI OUSSEM VILLAGE (1850M)

After breakfast in Marrakech, pick up and travel to the high Atlas Mountains through Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, taking in the breathtaking views of the towns along the way. Arrival in Imlil (65 km from Marrakech), meet the guide and multeer, and then begin the trek & climb Tizi Mzik pass (2684m), spectacular view over Imlil valley & Toubkal Summit, continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m in height), down the Azzaden valley through juniper forest to Tizi Oussem village. Overnight at a village guest house. Walking for 6 hours. Enjoy your Adventure Atlas Valley Trek 2 days.

DAY 2: TIZI OUSSEM (1850M) - ID ISSA VILLAGE (1800M) - TIZI OUDID (2000M) - MATTAT - AGERSIOUAL - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, leave Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa hamlet before continuing up to Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m), cross Matat village after a wild thurifer juniper forest, grab lunch under walnut groves, and relax along the river. Transfer return to Marrakech in the afternoon (5 hours) (arrive at 17h). End of our 2023 Atlas Mountains Trekking.
