DAY 1 : TANGIER - CHEFCHAOUEN

Your trip guide / driver will meet you in Tangier. Your tour to Sahara start as we drive towards  Chefchaouen known for its charming palette of blue and white buildings, once there you will get to embrace the culinary art of this region and stroll around it’s dazzling alleyways. You will be spending the night in this town in your hotel/riad.

DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN TO VOLUBILIS AND FES

This morning starts with the exploring of the city of Chefchaouen, later on, our journey will take us to the archeological ruins of Volubilis. The ruins are an outstanding example of the different kinds of civilizations that made Morocco their home and are still present in the cultural traditions in the country. This makes it an ideal place for a stroll through its beauty and history. Our next stop is the imperial city of Meknes one-time home of the Moroccan sultanate Moulay Ismail, you will explore this historic place and be captivated by its magic. Finally, we will arrive at the ancient city of Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco, it is one of the most complete medieval Islamic cities in the world. Your adventure for today ends here in your hotel or riad were you can rest and freshen up.

DAY 3: FES MEDINA EXCURSION

Today you will have a guided visit at 10:00 Am in the medina of Fès. To begin with thesouthern tower and the fortress of 16th century face to face with northern one, a panoramic view over the medieval city. You will travel in time back to the medieval period of the city where people still work in small narrow streets, several tiny stalls of all kinds of traditional crafts, and donkeys loaded with supplies are going up and down in the streets of the medina. The medina of Fes is rich of its Islamic monuments: the fascinating old mosques, the University of El-Karaouiyine and its libraries. All These elements made Fes the spiritual and cultural capital of the country.

DAY 4: FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMEL RIDE

Today we drive through the Middle Atlas mountains. It is home for Barbary apes called "themaggot” , native to the forest of cedar wood in the Middle Atlas. A break in Ifran town will be very appreciated. Itis a famous place for ski resorts in Morocco and it is established during the French protectorate. We are having lunch in Medilt  we continue to Erfoud as the capital of Fossils in Morocco so you will have this chance to visit one of the factories where they make beautiful articles out of marble. And right after that we visit the mausoleum of Mouay Ali Chref in Rissani, the founder of the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco during the 17th century.We drive to Erg Chebbi time for a cup of tea and packing for desert camp. Meet up with Camels for camel-ride and head to the dunes to watch the sunset. Overnight in the Berber tent.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGE - DADES - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE

We head towards Rissani, Todra and Dades Valley to seethe beautiful formations of High Atlas Mountains and of its one thousand Kasbah. Green fields of figs, almonds, apricots, peach, walnut and pomegranate trees. Next will be Rose valley, famous for rosewater and beauty creams extracted from the Damask Rose, used as a key ingredient in many perfumes, skin care, body care, cosmetics, hair care, medicine, etc. Women pick the blossoms in the very early morning. In May locals celebrate the harvest of roses in a festival. And you see kids on both sides of the road selling necklaces made of roses. Crossing the old palmery of Skoura to arrive Ouarzazate.

DAY 6: OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH - MARRAKECH

Today we start with optional visit of Taourert Kasbah. Then we drive to Ait ben Haddou village. We explore the most preserved village of the south of the country, classified as one of world’s heritages by UNESCO in 1987 and a series of movies were made in this village (Gladiator , Prince of Persia), We will do some walking inside the village and we continue along Ounila valley to reach Telouet Kasbah, a big fort of the Pacha who was the most powerful man of the south. Crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains Pass (Tizi-n-Tichka 2260 m ALT ) to arrive Marrakech. We drop you off at your riad / hotel and this will be the end of our Morocco private tour.
